The activities for the development of the food region have started in the spring of 2023, so we haven't been able to post the information here yet, but we will do our best.
The Association of Municipalities of Tartu County participates in the project of the Interreg Baltic See Programme. The project BSR Food Coalition connects local farmers and public authorities to ensure regular access to organic food meals at schools, and thus a continuous demand for healthy food supply.

Katri Kuusk, the coordinator of the Tartu County Food Network, works at the LAG Tartu Rural Development Association and deals with implementing Tartu County Food Strategy 2022-2030, including the development of the food region and coordinating network of stakeholders.
